Undergraduate Program in Humanities
The Undergraduate Program offers two sets of courses (160s and 190s) and a required core colloquium (Hum 100). The 160 series provide historical surveys; the 190s are more focused and are taught as seminars for juniors and seniors. In addition, ISH administers Senior Research Tutorials for thesis writers, runs a thesis workshop,* provides writing consultants and a thesis discussion forum (Senior Colloquy). As you can see from the list of senior theses written over the last two decades, the ISH honors, including the majors, have covered a lot of ground.
